This last picture is of my red velvet bearded Iris, I bought these about 3 years ago and planted them in my last garden, the clump got larger and larger but they didn`t flower. I uprooted them and transfered them into my new garden when I moved and now after a long wait, this year they are going to do themselves justice :o) and provide me with 6 flowers!

I hope they are as lovely as they are supposed to be and not a complete disapointment!!

My gorgeous hubby bought me not one but 2 beautiful David Austin Roses for my birthday from the RHS Flower show at Hampton palace last year. They too are about to burst into splendor :o)

There is nothing like walking around the garden first thing in the morning with a cup of tea before starting work.
